I am still using Weiman's silver polish on my chrome and wipe billet as well. $3.50 at Walmart! I am fixing to spend a day on my old scooter and shine the crap out of it. Just got one of those new wheel polishers from Meguiars,It looks like it will do a good job for $20 great shape for the wheels too!

Aspen, is there much difference between the Mother's Billet polish and the regular Mother's polish?? I saw some in O'reilly's the other day and it was $15.

The Mothers Billet polish is a finer compound than their regular polish, they both work, I perfer the the billet, it is expensive, but it goes a long way.

How about Zaino, anyone using it? I used it on my cars...when I had nice cars...before I had CHILDREN...ugh.

I just started using it again for the dog. I have never seen anything match Zaino at the car shows so I'm hoping it's just as good on the bike.

Thanks, I'll definitely try it out. I'm kind of OCD about my aluminum so I have no problem getting the "next best thing". I probably have 10 or so different aluminum polishes. The last thing I was told about was Adams. I had to order it off the net and it was expensive plus the shipping. It did work awesome though. I'll pick some of the Mothers Billet tomorrow and get to work.

Thanks.

Aspen, is there much difference between the S100 in the orange can and the white one in your pic? The orange seems easier to find and I try to avoid the HD dealership in my area. They have a so-so relationship with a good bit of Harley owners in the area and from my experience they are rude to BDM owners.

COOLHandLuke, I haven't used the orange one, so i can't comment on it and I don't know the difference between the two. I will tell you that when you use the S100 and the Mothers liquid together it is actually polishing the billet similar to using billet polish. I mix the two and use the Autozone spa towels. this method keeps your billet looking good and is pretty effective.

Thanks man. I'll try to find the white can. I just try to avoid the HD dealership in my area. (as a matter of fact my last post gave me an idea on a new thread I just made). I'll see if I can find some online or go to the Monroe HD.

This is what I use on my Dog, with these products and a little elbow grease you can make your bike look like new.

Mothers Billet Polish
Micro-fiber super soft Spa towels (they don't scratch your billet)
S100 cleaner
Mothers liquid Carnuba wax

To poish the bike all I use is the Mothers billet polish and the ultra soft spa towels

For general clean up after a ride, I use a micro-fiber with S100 and Mothers liquid wax together. I use that on everything, paint billet and chrome. After a couple of applications, the bugs and dirt come off easy.

so you use the s100 and the wax mixed together on the same rag or just both products?

Since we are talking about all kinds of cleaners, waxes, and polishes has anyone heard of "Original Bike Spirits"? I was in a store a couple of months ago and saw a small can next to the register and kind of bought it on impulse. It's a small can that would easily fit in a saddle bag, probably even a tool bag, so I thought I would give it a try.

To be honest, I completely forgot about it until I returned from a 300 mile ride weekend before last and decided to give it a try. My bike was pretty dirty, it had some blow by on it as well as brake dust and other sh*t. I sprayed this stuff all over my bike and it worked like a charm. It cut through the oil and everything else. I was fairly impressed.

Before that I was using "Protect All". I saw an add for it in American Iron magazine and I also saw a review somewhere and thought I would give it a try. They advertised that you could spray this product on any bike surface chrome, aluminum, paint glass, even leather and vinyl. The "Protect All" worked pretty good, but I have seen things that worked better and Protect All is very hard to find (at least in 1,000 miles from nowhere Mississippi). Believe it or not before that a friend I was in a band with who does custom paint suggested I use Pledge.

Today I ordered a can of S100 and I think I'll give it a try.

Two questions:
Can you use the S100 on everything, including the seat?

If anyone has used Bike Spirits, what's your thoughts on it?
