Hey guys......my Dad has been riding the chopper regularly and says the pipes are already gold.....I have read all the threads on polish but most folks are referring to billet clean up......appears Wizards is the favorite...

To those with Stainless Creations are you able to get the shine back and what products/methods are you using??

I have read alot of good things on here about Wizards polish but never tried it. I went into the locla HD dealer last week and saw Wizards Metal Polish sitting on the shelf. They just started carrying the Wizards line recently. I grabbed a bottle to try. I have tried a few different aluminum polishes and IMO this Wizards stuff is the best. I used a little on my Stainless Creations pipes last night and with some rubbing it will remove the majority of the gold tint. The gold tint will be back within a short amount of time though but at least I know Wizards will polish them back up again.

Both of my SC pipes came with wizards. I don't f*ck around with the pipes using elbow grease. Electric drill and any polish removes it real quick and yes it's will go right back to a silver color. But the gold is kool too. :D

I have used almost everything else and I thought the Blue Job was the most amount of work.

I found on my Stainless Creations that Wenol metal Polish works the quickest of them all.

I have about 20 (maybe 25) different metal polishes in my garage and have tried parobably that many more through my old detail shop. Wizards works good, Blue Job works, but I think the non abrasive Wenol works the best for stainless.

I wont use anything but Wizards on my billet.

If you are careful and not sloppy take a rag and put a little muriatic acid on it. Make sure you wear chemical protective gloves and just gently wipe the acid on the stainless...the gold will disapear before your eyes like magic. Make sure you protect yourself and your bike...you don't want that shit anywhere except on the pipes. Works better than any product out there...hands down...period.

I use Blue Job....as Don said....and I think it polishes up just like anything else:2thumbs: I only use the Blue Job for my pipes....I usually just take my time..have a couple of Barley Pops and good to go!!:whoop::D in my opinion...it works better than the Wizards...but just on the pipes...I use Wizards for everything else!
