Fluid change on 2000 pitbull

Lucky to have found this forum, thanks for having me ,
I just picked up a 2000 big dog pitbull , needs some tlc didn’t come with any service manual and I’m new to spinning wrenches on a bike, can someone tell me what’s fluids I need for a compete fluid change n plugs and a run down on how to approach this? It has the s&s 1750.
Any help Is greatly appreciated.

I'm in the same boat as you boss. I've had mine for about 2.5 months now and just started riding it about 10 days ago sparingly. I just changed my oil today with Amsoil 20w50 (cuz I'm an Amsoil fanboy), the primary with some Lucas Primary fluid from Wildsteedworx and I'll do the trans in a few days probably with the proper Amsoil transmission fluid. As far as plugs, my 02 Pitbull has NGKs in it but since they're a lil fouled, I'm just going to pick up some OEM Champion plugs at a bike shop tomorrow or auto parts store and gap them correctly. That way when I get this demon carb back together, hopefully everything is fresh and new and I can tweak my settings and have a healthy reliable bike.

You'll want to get a motorcycle jack or something similar so you can have your bike upright when changing fluids rather than on its sidestand.

You should check the manufacture date of your tires & drive belt right out of the box to! The drive belt on my 2000 that I am currently working on is a 2002…
