Gents just an up date on the flasher situation.
After much nut scratching and dispare on my part i decided to give finding the fault. With a good Bro who is a techo for a Telco company and knows small components and curcuits.
We pulled the old LH hand control apart and pulled out the offending curcuit board, installed the new one and soldered the wire that we thought would assist the lights getting power when required. (someone has put in a new wiring loop and a dodgy switch).
Once connecting and turning the key on the new (from ebay and $130) later) started smoking (told you i get smoke out of cables) we quickly turned off the key.
Another hour of swearing and cursing we found the original fault..................the bloody flasher unit.....................must learn to use the KISS principal in future.
Now i have flashers so the Fed's should leave me alone...............well maybe.

I will after i pull it apart again, but at present it is working, all though i have to keep my thumb on the button as i negotiate the corner or turn.
Someone has gone to a lot of trouble...............AND IT IS PLAYING WITH MY MIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!::bang:

No probs from New Zealand (been living there 12 years and still have my house and my son there, back & forwards from NZ to Spain, no probs with US ebay in any part of the world.. I even have had things shipped to Iraq & Afghanistan while working there.
Let me know if I can be of any help, I do have mates who travel regularly NZ/AUS regularly.

Cheers, thanks for that, but i still need to know the difference between the 2 EHC modules, if i can use either without melting it and my wiring......................anyone????????????????:iagree:
