First weekend after getting my bike... depressing.

Sorry to hear, I road my K-9 yesterday. One of the benefits of living way down South.

Been there done that. I bought my first Big Dog (04 chopper) in Feb 2006. It was 15 degrees outside. I was so pumped. I wore double gloves, full face helmet, jacket with liner, long johns, double socks...... It was only 18 or so miles to the dealer ship, a 20 minute ride..... I could handle it.... right?

Half way home I couldn't feel anything, by the time I got home my fingers and hands were stinging so bad I couldn't stand it. Hands down the longest ride of my life.

The highs stayed in the mid to high teens for another two or three weeks. All I could do was go into the garage, sit on it, and pretend.

It made it in to the '80s today headed out to lunch on the Dog and got a sunburn, life is good!

Snow melted today as the temp rose above 30 and then the rain returned in a hail of glory. 10 day forecast is rain.:bang:
