I took the leap and bought a 2007 K9 Limited Edition # 5/100 with 4700 miles on it. It is in amazing condition. Not perfect but excellent.
This was my first Big Dog and was somewhat intimidated by the extended forks.I never rode one before.
After a few hours on the bike, I became very comfortable and just love the machine. Great torque, nasty attitude and beautiful!

a recommendation, when doing a U-turn, shift your weight and hang your ass off the outside of the seat. makes a good counter-balance. and don't look right in front of you in a turn, that will get you in trouble. look way out in front of you at where you WANT to go.

but most importantly, as soon as you can, take a motorcycle riders safety training course. it WILL do you a lot of good.
