Today is the day. Taking the K9 on my first ride this morning. We are having our annual air show, BBQ competition and motorcycle cruise in today. We are having a 130 mile poker run this morning and to follow that, the bikes parade down the runway and are a big part of the opening ceromonies. The Big Dog is leading the pack in the parade!!!!! :flag:

This is what sucks a$$......It's 41 degrees out right now :loony:

Congrats on getting the Dog. Sounds like a good day of riding for you. I wish it was 41* down here in Florida. The 95* heat is keeping me from riding.

Sounds great, looking forward to a little cooler weather here in Florida, hopefully in time for Daytona in October.

The day is done. Holy crap!!!!! What a piece. I'm so happy and very proud to own this K9. It was cold this morning...very chilly. I don't know if it was the adreneline or if it just wasn't that bad. It was dead calm but I have to say this....I've rode a whole $hit load of bikes in my days but I've never rode like this. WOW!!!! I was stylin and comfortable at the same time. That bike got the attention today, it just attracted so many eyes. Im in love with my chopper....For Sale???? NO GOD DAMN WAY!!!!!!!

I will ask some of the staff at the air show if they took any pics. The dog was front and center along with a Friend of mine which rides an '05 chopper. We were both on the leadership group for the motorcycle part so we were both busy with cordinating the event. Unfortunately, I spaced out having pics taken.

Congratulations on the new scoot – Nothing like that first ride Yup, most people think these bikes are just shinny “bar hoppers” and don’t realize that they are really a comfortable long distance riding bike. Last year rode the K9 from Miami to Panama City - over 12 hours freeway time, stopping only for gas. Piece of cake. Post some pix if you can.

:2thumbs:Absolutely. Ten to Twelve hours on a 08 Ridgeback is easy too as long as it isn't over 100 degrees outside and like riding in an oven due to fatigue. If you polish the aluminum, people mistake it for Chrome. And, once cleaned and polished, it is easy to maintain.:whoop:

Looks like your new Street glide is gonna be 2nd fiddle now!!!
Yep...

The K9 is a very sweet ride. I can't believe how comfortable it is. It actually rides nicer than the Harley as long as I keep it under 70mph. Above that and I can't keep my foot on the right hand footpeg. It viberates off. 65 to 68 is pretty smooth cruis'n....Lov'n it!!!!!
