first oil change

Ok changed my oil for the first time put Royal Purple 20-50 K&N filter went to check the tranny and it looked like pink foam in thier is that normal ? and i cant get the plug out for the lifter screen any suggestion would be great.

I run Redline Shockproof in my tranny. Heavy pink looking stuff. Doesn't look foamy though. As far as the filter screen do you mean the tappet screen for the engine oil?

I concur with the Shockproof. I wish the price was Shockproof...but it is worth it for quieting the gear noise on downshift, and finding neutral is a little easier I believe too.

why is finding neutral so hard on these things. i noticed that too.

It took me a while to get neutral easy to lock in.
Just have to keep playing with the linkage, now it's smooth and easy.:2thumbs:

That pink foam stuff is Redline Shockproof. Good stuff and Baker used to recommend it but now they recommend Spectro which I'm using now and Amsoil.
The lifter screen plug is a bitch, replace it with a chrome hex head plug and it will be a lot easier.
