first electrical problem...Help please!

Hey Cleaner, I don't know if the newer bikes have the resistor like the older one's but......once while doing some electrical stuff on my 2003 Chop I did something to cause this resistor to fry. Anyway it lays one the battery and its a plain looking rectangular black box. Oh, the dealer had a hard time figuring it out and thought it was the EHC, it was the resistor.

Just like yours it would not crank or make any noise when I tried to start it but all the lights came on!

need to check the green wire at the starter. needs to have 8 volts standing and 12 volts when switch is activated.

if not then you need to make sure the run/start switch is working.

Cleaner....hopefully you've got your sled back up and running. Post some pics of that springer front end...which one did you purchase?
