Can't help you brother, but you brought up a good point for ALL of us to consider regarding touch-up paint.

Is there any way to get the vendor paint codes from Big Dog for our bikes so we can buy our own color-matched touch-up paint....especially IF the 'unthinkable' happens:eek: and Big Dog closes its doors??

I need a bottle of touch up in candy apple red. Guess I'll call Bigdog and if that doesn't work Ed will know what to do.

This is what I got from BDM for the 15th Anniversary Kandy Red (not Candy Apple Red) on my bike.
Maybe e-mail Bob Lockwood @ BDM re: your bike..? :)

As C.C said you can email Big Dog customer support and request the paint code for your bike if it's the stock color. They will request your VIN number and will email you the code so you can have your paint shop mix it. Be advised for those that have the O-SO-ORANGE color, there's a toner that's hard to get a hold of and it's a PPG brand. I played hell getting it mixed for my bike and found a paint shop in Portland that had the toner...:2thumbs:

Just an FYI...you can go through your dealer, too. I have most of the paint codes and the ones I don't have are just a phone call away. That's what we're here for...the general public. Bob is mine...back off!! LOL...I'll never be able to reach him now that you've posted his info, thanks!
