speedo

Oh and as far as the speedo. I just used the Dakota Digital with no idiot lights or Tach.
I mounted it in a Aluminum tube. as you can see in pic. I cut out a "T" from a I beam and sanded it down to fit the tube. welded in place. more sanding and beveling edge to go under chrome ring of speedo. A little powder coat and done. except for the easy wiring of course.

Its mounted in place of the spacer from the engine and the intake backing plate.

Again the idiot lights "oil, neutral, high beam" are going in the left control on the handle bars.

I dont have a horn, I have a wireplus so I dont have a "run" button. And I fabbed a tag bracket and single old school tail light that I posted a year ago.
sooooo no turn signals. since this is the case I wired my run/stop to be my
high/low bean "the cap actually switches so it reads properly" and made my
right turn signal button the kill switch. I am going to fill in the holes on the left controls and add my idiot lights there. To make the tank run about .25" over the bottom of the backbone which is "parelell" to the rear mount you must raise the tank 2.5" I am really happy with the look.
Good ingenuity! Sounds like me hot wiring my bike so it runs with the WP now out of it. A lot less wires and besides, who needs turn signals when you have arms?

That bike is not build for us midgets. I'm 6.3, 36" inseam and long arms. I did reach pegs and handlebar, barely

Seen Al's bike while in Fayetteville for BBBQ and it does look good. Nothing else out there like it. The fit and finish is top notch, great work Al :2thumbs:

The ride looks hot, love the lines and suits your ample frame, you don't look like a praying mantis on a dinky toy, so obviously some serious thought has gone into your mod's. 10/10.
Not good for me i suffer from ducks desease.
Are those FSD pipes?
Do you have cones or baffles?
Can't wait to see what your going to do in winter.
