no, I wanted higher bars and BDM recommended these from the '06 Mutt. They are about 3" higher and 1" more forward - just perfect for me. And the best of it, no change of clutch, brake or electric cables.
BDM even installed before shipping all the electric cables, so it was very easy to put them on the bike.:2thumbs:

Hey PSI, I would like to ride your bike (with the higher bars) to see what a
K-9 like that feels like.
Of course you know, I might not bring it back!!
I really like the looks of that machine.Oh, and if the windshield is easy on and off, you might save it for long trips (nice to duck behind to avoid gettin' hit in the face by a bird). I saw a guy in Sturgis who got "bird-strike! NOT PRETTY!:down: What a set of black eyes! And he told me he almost lost control of the bike. I guess that's why for safety sake I like to take my springer on long trips (I did have a bird bounce off my shield in Wyoming on my way to Sturgis one year)!
Ride Safe and don't forget, I want to ride that bike! I'll buy the beers!

Deal - you can take a ride any day, as long as you take care of the beer....:roll:

Windshield is off and on in one minute with 4 screws - very easy. The shield is great in August in Florida with all the love-bugs. Since I cut it down, it's the perfect hight not only to provide a perfect view, but bounce off bugs and road crap.
For the rest of the year, it's off - like the looks better without it.
Still shoveling snow these days - then you better come to Florida ?

beautiful bike. I thought I had seen that bike somewhere, but from the posts I guess that is a BDM paint job that has been seen on some other bikes. Either way, I like that paint and that is a nice ride.
Guess I'll see it in person this weekend! :2thumbs:
