Holy crap, Had my first ride ever on a K9 today. Roads still shitty but have to ride down the road and back. Can't believe how nice it rides, vibration is way less then my last Harley (softail springer) and it rides so much better then the Bourget I rode last spring. Looks like I made the right choice. Can't wait for the weather to break.

Congrats. fyi those are not the stock pipes as you indicated. I believe they are mean mothers. Also, you may find that tool roll handy. I wouldn't be to quick to remove it. Always nice to have a wrench if you need to adjust the clutch, tighten battery connections, etc.
