I just bought a 04 Mastiff and am really lovin it. I would like to get the Mrs. on it and was wondering if the fiberglass fender is safe for a passenger. I am assuming it is since they sell the pillion pad. If so would any adjustments have to be made ect: belt, shocks. Thanks for answering.

Rear fender should be just fine. My Pit has a fiber FRONT fender but the rear is steel. :zz2cents:

I have had a two-up setup on my Vintage with a fiberglass fender since 2000. I have loaded it for cross country rides, carried a 250 lb friend as a passenger around for several days, used it like it was built for it for 13 years and over 70K miles with no signs of distress. Trust it.

Looking forward to retirement
Have owned my 03 chopper since 2004. I have a fiberglass rear fender with a 2 up seat. The mrs and me have ridden thousands of miles together in the last 9 yrs. it is 100% safe. Get your wife on the back and enjoy the bike !
