What would it take to put '07 mastiff sissy bar struts on an '06? I like the '07 where they are smooth.

Probably just money, I know someone that put the 07 struts on a 06 K9 for that very same reason and everything lined right up. You could always sell the old ones on ebay to recoop some of the cash.

I just ordered the sissy bar kit on saturday. What is your buddies name on here so I can ask what was involved in the swap.

Cavracr21 did the swap along with his dad's K9 as well. Its a direct replacement shouldn't be hard at all. Do a search on this forum and you'll plenty of strut replacement posts.

I don't remember right now but I would ensure they are the same width. Meaning they moved from the 250mm to the 300mm tire about that time.

Anybody else have any insight on this? I already ordered the 06 ones for 695 with tax and I would hate to put them on when the 07 might just bolt on.
