Just over 7k, still round..don't think you'll be disappointed with the Avon.:old2:
I don't think I will from the looks of that.. mine started flattening out around 5k into its life and then the wearing on the left side due to the tire being cocked.. everyone tells me avon is a lot softer and I'll like em more.. I've always swore by Metzeler until this tire.. lol..

Let me know when you've put 10k+ on your Avon, then I'll say I told ya so..;)

everything i've heard has always been the Metz was a softer compound than Avon with better grip. sounds like a conflict of information. the "new" avon cobra is softer than the old avon venom, guess that's the reason the venoms tended to last up to 15k.
Everyone I have spoken with says that Avon is a softer tire and grips better. I felt the Avon compared to the Metzeler before install and I've have to say off that I agree.. I have only changed out the front so far, the real test is on the rear and we will find out. I was caught in a horrible rain storm on hwy 59 coming back from Lufkin and everyone was going about 40 to 50 it was so bad.. all my buddies were sliding all over and I never once even spun a tire, which I expected with that biggo fatty back there.. thought I'd hydro plane.. never did.. Metzeler has done me great justice over n over again!! I just wish they mad an actual 300, not a 318.. lol
