It's now at 12 mainshafts with fshane1 when you add JaileR, Waternazi to the list.

Jwoolf Wonder if we can get all the poeple here to post there Serial numbers from there tranys here.Could be there is a range of serial numbers that might help us locate defective parts. S/N located on the top of trany.

just got back from the dealer and found out they have had (2) mainshafts that had to be replaced. one of them in an '07 K9. probably just an off the wall comment with no backing but something was said about metal fatigue/ inferior metal in the shaft. :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:

What is the number of 300 tires to 250 tires??? My suspicions are the added torque absorbed by the traction of the 300. My 250 spins a lot when I get on it!!!!!

It's 13 now with BigDognSoCal's broken mainshaft.

sulconst2...It would be interesting to see if this has made it back to them(Baker)and what they feel the reason and fix is...If they send out the same main shaft to fix the problem we should continue to see the same problems...My bike is stock '07 with a 250 tire...7000 miles...pretty generic...
