Guys, offcorse I will built it back to the BD it was before, with the 117 and the V&H radials!!!!:D Approvement for the 117 is barely not possible, you have to stuff the air intake and exhaust full of noise tempering material, that makes it impossible to drive it in a normal way (and it has to for the approval), besides of the mechanical noise the 117 makes. Lucky we don't have an ANNUAL approval, once the BD is approved I can do what I want untill a lawenforcer let me stop on th road............By the way, Holland is a great small country to live in, you can buy drugs at any corner but can't get an approval for a BD........:whoop:

Ohhhhhhh man,

WHAT are you doing:eek:?????

There is/was a European importer of the BD and there are papers to have them street legal with a few changes!!

Contact LEWIS here in the forum - he has all the papers to let you go right on the street.

Sharp edges - wtf!

Evo engine? The 117 cui is street legal with an Euro3 Harley exhaust and standard carb together with standard jets.

Changes:
- flashers (I use these:SHIN YO | Onlineshop fr Scheinwerfer, Rcklicht, Blinker und LED)
- head light insert with E-sign
- Harley Euro3 exhaust with catalytic converters
- jiffy stand must retract automatically (just put a little piece of metal into the hinge)
- may be license plate mount

You are happy to have a 07 bike. On my 08 I had to install a secondary air system - no need on a 07 scoot.

That's it and nothing more!!!!!!!!

Hi Jochen,

I've contacted the european importer but he told me there is no approval for imported BDM's, because the legally imported BDM's are built to the european market. A friend of mine had to go back 4 times to the approval institute with his 117 ci AIH because it maked too much noise (85 dB instead of 83) while the exhaust and air intake where as stuffed as possible with noisedamping material......Als o the brakefluidreservoirs has to have a clear cap so that you can check the fluid....that is a european regulation. I will contact Lewis. How long does it takes for a TUV?

Sorry, but you didn't convince me that Holland is a great place to live! Geographically, it is 2119 square miles (46 by 46 miles if a square), has a population of approximately 6 million, has an average temperature of 50 degrees Fahrenheit, rains almost 30 inches a year, and has a retarded motorcycle inspection (Not exactly how I want to learn about my bike). :job:

We can buy any drugs you desire (They are even on certain street corners!), have no inspection (ok, I pay $10 a year for a sticker that I don't have to put on the bike), :D

Just messing with you. Hey, does Holland have a lot of free shit? I will be looking for a place to retire and get free shit since I've paid my entire life for the majority of the US to get free shit and won't be eligible here in the US. I just keep paying and paying.:bang:

But, if I move to Holland, I am not taking my bike apart except to fix stuff and I am not taking any spiky stuff off. You could consider me an outlaw because I might want spiky stuff on my bike. Are you allowed to own a knife over there?

OK, I am just rambling :rant::rant:

Haha Huw, that's a misty opinion about Holland :whoop: We are talking the same place though?:whoop: No, apart of the bike regulations it's a good place to live. The politicians even talking now about a general NO to softdrugs......Offcorse I was just kidding also. But it is frustrating to demolish your bike for an approval and after that building it back. I may try the german way German Biker advised:cheers:
