I think you most likely end up with alot a cheep parts, brakes, controls road max trany?, Cheaper chrome. IMO

And a pain to get it registered, inspected and insured.

Buy a used K9 or something smart like that. This reeks of cheap.

It is a far cry from a Big Dog Chopper. And the price seems kind of high for a bike that you have to build your self.

All said and done youd have around $19,000 or more with good paint and buying parts to use instaede of the one in the kit you don't like. Also add for alloy wheels.

What is insurance going for on a "special consrtuction" ?

A guy came in to the local shop here on a Jesse James chop with a 145 S&S and said he was payin around $3000 for the insurance. (And other than the motor the bike was not very impressive"
