Hi Guy's, I just signed up so new to this.

I have a K9 and looking to get extensions too but having trouble with the bike shops here finding any. I think the 5" will work..., any suggestions on where to buy some?

Thanks for your help!
Quick go back to the introduction. It shows respect for the pack or the dogs will be all over you.:spank:

Okay guys i am 6ft 4 " would like to stretch the legs out some more. But i don't want to over do it or make the controls look weird sticking all the way out front. What the recommendation for the best fit and look 2.5 or 3 been told you want to retain a slight bend in the legs.

Leaning towards 2.5 any suggestions?:confused::hi:
Did you ever get the 5" extensions and if so where did you get them? I just got my K9 and same height as you.

I currently have the stock ones on now and they seem a little short, almost like sitting in a chair, no leg extension..., was looking to get 5" extensions to stretch my legs out more.
I have an 09' K9

I am 6'2" with about a 35" inseam, on a 2006 K9. I currently have the 2.5" extented and I would like to go out further but I havent been able to find any longer ones. I checked out www.DMCustomMachine.com and can't seem to locate the site. Don't know if they still exist. But I am interested in putting something longer on. The 2.5" are definitely better than the stock ones, so if all you can find is the 2.5" definitely go with them. If anyone knows where we can get longer ones I would really like to know. Thanks.

Thanks for the heads up. I spoke to D M Custom Machine, turns out they are about an hour away from me. They said they don't have a 5" but will be sending me a list of the various Big Dog parts they do have.
I'll forward the list on in case you or anyone else see's something they could use.
In the meantime I'll keep searching for the 5" or see if I can find someone to make it?

I am 6'o with a short torso and long legs. I put a set of bulldog bagger floor floor boards on my k-9 and love them. they give me room up front and back as I have a bad leg! I also put the extenders on to get me away from the brake lever and clutch lever so I can move around a bit more!!!

That is very creative, that is what I call thinking outside of the box.
Do you have a picture of the floor boards on your K9 I'd love to see what it looks like.
