Curious about something. What has people out there paid for an extended warranty from big dog? Has other people used other companies instead of big dog for extended warranty? Do you think that the extended warranty was worth it? Is there anything that is not covered under extended warranty besides maintance of course. I usually don't buy extended warranty's but was just curious on this. Also, you don't have to buy an extended warranty right when you buy your bike right? I think you have until your warranty runs out. Is there any advantage to doing it right away or after?

If you have problems with your
bike 95% of the time the dealer
will tell you that what is wrong
with your bike is not covered
under warranty. then you have
paid for ex warranty and to fix
your bike.

The extended warranty that Harley Davidson uses, is through an independent company in Arizona. There is a $50 deductible every time you take it in. You also have to have all your service records from new to show the company you followed all the scheduled mainteneance checks through an authorized dealer. I sold my bike before i got to use it, but they asked me for all my service records when i transfered it over to the new owner.
