Hello all,

I have an opportunity to get a set of Hooker Troublemakers at a smokin' price. Problem is, they are for a 2005 RSD Chopper. Mine is a 2004 LSD Chopper. Is it possible that they will still work?

Here we go again. This topic of rsd pipes on a left hand drive bike has been covered many times before. They will most likely stick out a little further than normal. I would say stay away from them and save the extra coin and buy the correct pipes.

Yes, I did several searches, and no, i didn't find any specific information. Maybe I should be more specific in my initial question.

Regarding, let's say, the Hooker Trouble Maker exhaust, are the pipes themselves physically different from LSD vs. RSD in matters like bend radius coming off the heads? Or, if not, maybe just the way you clock the pipes coming off the head before you tighten them down? I understand that the bracket would be an entirely different matter. I'm just curious about the pipes themselves. BTW, the "smokin" deal I mentioned was $99 plus shipping for a new set of darksides.

Zip, I would think that the pipes coming out of the heads have to be moved out more on the RSD pipes right of the bat to clear the RSD transmission so yes they are going to stick out more but they will fit after to fabricate a bracket for them. Some on here have done it already as stated and some have put LSD pipes on a RSD bike and made it work so for $99 I would give them a shot.
