Those look pretty cool! I like the fact you can adjust the sound, it's like having dumps like I put on my old Nova gasser back in the day!

My buddy put them on his Harley. Best sounding Harley I've heard. He loves them. Plug n play plus a new map.

OK, they came in. Packaged very well, and weighing in at 22 lbs.
The first thing I ran into was that the pipe at the flange was a tad bit bigger than stock, and the snap ring wouldn't seat in the flange bracket. Just took a bit of grinding on the snap ring to get it to fit.
Next after a half hour of trying to get the nuts on, I had to remove the rear heat shield to get my fingers in there.
Everything else fit great, the rear bracket bolted straight to the frame, no adaptor.
The little wire that hooks to the butterfly inside, is made to set it in one position and leave it. So if for some reason you had to reset it out on the road somewhere, you';; be laying on the ground cussing it. Knowing me, by riding season, I'll figure out a way to adjust it while riding down the road.
Hopefully I can take it for a ride tomorrow, but I did fire it up. OMG Very deep tone, loud, but not ear hurting loud. This is with the butterfly open, I'll wait till I can ride to play with it.

They DO look cool. Dont understand the wire thing though. Hey thanks for the update. Love to hear what it sounds like. So so far you would recommend it? And do you think most people would have to readjust the carb?

I like the fact that they are stainless, so when they start looking bad, I can run them the buffing wheel, and polish them out again.

Patriot Defender Pipes for Harley Davidson Motorcycles

This is the web site I ran across. With my bike being 03 chopper RHD, the exhaust was the same as a Dana Soft tail Harley. I am not a Harley expert, nor can I think of any that are RHD. I don't have a K-9 in my shop right now so I can compare, to see what would have to be done to make the exhaust fit. As for the exhaust itself, I love them so far. I was only out for a few hours last Sunday, but they sound great, and I don't think I'll have to re-jet the carb, coming for the stock exhaust to these. At least I hope I don't, I was getting 59 mpg before. Once it warms up, I'll play with the butterfly inside it, to see what it does, but right now it wide open, and it not much louder than the stock ones were. Hope this helps.
