Why is the front pipe starting to discolor from the exhaust port down about 6 to 8". The back pipe has no discoloration!! I have a S&S 107

Is this something that just started? If so, it might have a front cyl intake leak at Intake manifold seal.

Run the motor and spray a little WD40 around the intake manifold
If you have a leak the motor will miss and sputter a little
