Exhaust help with 2004

I got a 2004 Chopper and am looking at a set of Vance and Hines pipes. Big Radius 2:2 part number26029. They tell me these will fit a 86-11 softtail. Told me i would have to do a "slight" mod. I've been told that before and had hell trying to make it work. Does any1 know what the mod is and is there any other brand of pipe that looks like this that would bolt up without any mods. I'm not brand specific, just want something like the part i stated earlier in this post. Thanks for the help guys. rock on.

The only mod. I can think of is notching the heat shield around the rear master cylinder. That's what I had to do.

Same as bigdog04 and also had to dimple the exhaust pipe.
