Taking off my stock exhaust tonight the Nut didn't seem to want to come off. After applying some elbow grese I ended up loosening the bolt out of the cylinder head. Luckily no damage, and the threads into the cylinder head look great! The nut side on the other hand is not worth using again.
I searched on ebay for Exhaust Flange Bolt and didn't get any hits
does anyone know where I can snag one quickly? I assume these are stocked at Dealers, seems like a fairly used part? Run down to Strokers and pick up a couple new bolts/nuts?
Now to thread in the new bolt, I assume apply Red Locktite. But should I just tighten it into the cylinder head with the new nut and exhaust flange. Or is there a different process for this? IE thread into cylinder head and wait for 20 min for Locktite, then flange and bolt?
Thanks just don't want to F up my heads.
