just to say hi to everybody and let them know. my name is Hooter. and I used to work directly for the Big Dog motorcycle factory. As an airbrush and graphic artist.

I've noticed a lot of people talking about Ed on here. a great artist and an even better human being. I worked with him for years. And I am proud to call him a friend.

I know confidently using either Ed or myself. you're going to get a quality custom paint job in return.

I'm here to throw my hat in the ring for the opportunity. to help anyone out with their custom painting needs. Please contact me through here. for more information on price quotes.

thank you and have a good evening

Welcome Hooter,

Just curious what years did you work for BDM? I would be curious to know who painted my Bulldog.

Mike

no I don't have a website yet. Starting my own company specializing in custom painting motorcycles only. Have plans for in the future but need to grow the capital now.so you know anybody needing a paint job. Send them my way.

well Mike if that's a picture of your bike.I'm the one that painted that bike!
I work for big dog from late 2005 thru 2010
Yep, that's my bike. I have never seen another bagger paint job in the same design and colors. Where the some of the baggers a one of a kind job?

I had Coops in Wichita do some touch up on it a while back. He said he worked for BDM also.

yep Brandon from coop's used to work at big dog too. he was actually in charge of the warranty department. quality person who does quality work.

near the end of the company's history. Some of the bikes were in fact a single one off paint job. not that it was so dramatic or original of a paint scheme.but as far as documented built big dogs. sometimes the result was only one or two that had that color and layout. most important to remember. Is the factory wasn't getting orders anymore. So most bikes came out mono. Unless it was actually ordered that way.

these models included the Bagger,K9 and Wolf. it was a sad time for me to watch a beautiful thing like big dog motorcycles. slowly dwindled away and die. Or like watching the pyramids turn into sand in front of your very eyes.

Hi Hooter. Welcome to the forum. You painted my 09 Mastiff.
Shimmering shamrock with tribal flames and furnace flames.
Matt, you, and I met at the factory and you shared your thoughts
on what I had in my mind. You did a fantastic job on my paint!!!
I will be contacting you soon for a quote on a little project I need.
Great to hear from you. Really happy to hear you are still painting.

these are the times that warm my heart. unfortunately big dog do not give the artist. To be known by the world. If you watch every chopper show on TV. it's just another pile of parts. Until they send it off to the painter.

I wish all the artists who work at Big Dog Motorcycles. had more opportunity to hear feedback on the jobs that they did as well.

I'd be more than happy to tackle any project for you Matt. touch up or complete custom paint job. you can reach me at hooterpaint@gmail.com
