Hope he kept them. Maybe we can figure away to incorporate them into a rememberall
He probably never wants to see them again
Ha ha, with the skill level in this group I’m sure we can construct an awesome something
I don't have them was put to sleep to have it removed.

I have pics and I can tell you it's not hard to recreate but Paul is right I don't want to see them again.

I've done some more reading on my ICU notes, I had a lot going on and still trying to wrap my head around it all still. It's truly amazing that I was literally wrong place wrong time. 20 Seconds earlier or later and I wouldn't have been hit by this car, a longer/shorter gas stop or a longer/shorter lunch break and I would have made it home back on December 3rd. Talk about seconds matter. Same goes for this lady had she left her house 20 seconds later or earlier id have been home.

Mr. Wright

Knows some things
I know what you mean by seconds count. I was following a guy through town one morning, headed to the mines. He made it through the stop light, but I had to stop for it. This put him just far enough ahead of me, that I didn't need to pass him, on the way to the next town, where he hit a horse.

Looking forward to retirement
Eric, would have should have! Remember the drilling rig that flipped over killing my driver that I was suppose to have driven, but Chris kept pestering me so I let him drive it back. I have what if’ed 10,000 Times, yes I should have been in that rig. Please don’t go down that road. It is what it is. Let it go!

Yea, I know. Shit really it comes down to her not paying attention regardless of time. No reason she shouldn't have seen me!

I was heading South she was heading north and took a left to turn into a Church parking lot. Considering I always ride down the middle of the lane when riding solo she should have without a doubt seen me or followed the law about yielding or stopping!

Good to read, that everything improoves. Just use your muscles, even when it is unconfortable and they´ll come back soon.

All the best!

Glad to hear your making progress. I'm sure you wish it was going faster but at least your heading in the right direction. And I hear you on how seconds count, I've had many near misses and thought if I was a second or 2 off my trip things would have been a lot different. Any word on your eyesight in your one eye? Hang in there brother!

Okay Gentlemen,

I figured I would give an update as of this week.

I was actually released from the Nursing/Rehab Facility, Insurance kicked me out as they didn't want to pay for me to be there anymore. I had basically become self sufficient in a wheel chair and got myself around so now I am now home, which is nice but I still haven't been given the blessing from my surgeon to be weight bearing on my feet yet. Next time I see him is Feb. 26th and I expect to be able to be weight bearing once he reviews my Xrays. Therefore I fully expect to be walking by the end of this month, although its going to take a while to get back to normal ability.

The surgeon has been without a doubt not very informative which has been driving me absolutely nuts, it would have been nice if back on January 15th when I saw him he could have said he was going to restrict me from weight bearing for all 12 weeks!

I actually went into the garage today to look at the bike...I got quite the laundry list of stuff to fix and parts to find. I've been hoarding for many years and I actually have about 1/2 of what I need already here. Unfortunately, it's some of the more expensive parts I don't have on my shelf like a new tank and a front rim. The tank has a huge dent in it on the front right side from probably the Triple Trees going into it. I also wasn't able to shift the damn transmission now which I just received 2 years ago from Chris at Big Dog which was an amazing ride! I'll have to dig into that one, but wondering if a shift fork is bent possibly due to the entire front left extended control shearing all 3 bolts.

What I found MOST fascinating about the accident was just how those fork tubes took a huge amount of the impact and what is crazy is the front axle is bent inside the hub and the bolt sheared off holding the axle in. Oddly enough however I actually have an entire front axle so I don't need that part! haha

My main focus is getting walking and able to move around easily so I can go back to work first! That is the priority obviously over getting the bike fixed, which both are going to be a long road. I like working on the bikes but it's rather unfortunate that it requires this much attention due to someone else's negligence, not to mention the 3 Arteries in my pelvis that were broken and almost took my life. However I was lucky enough to have the surgeons find them and fix me.
