Just sittin here reading these posts, I got to thinking. ( dangerous ) I'd say that Kel is the kind of guy, that a person would be honored to call their friend. Eric, you, and all the rest of us here are truly blessed to have him. !!

First, I want to say thank you again to Big Sister. You are precious.

Eric, I'm praying for some peace and calm while you wait out the pelvis thing. I'm no good at chilling or being stuck in one place (last time I sat and watched TV was almost a year ago) so I can't imagine how tough that is!

And my heart absolutely melted reading the following. That is so beautifully said and I'm so happy for you both. I'd say you are both very blessed.

Thankyou Ray...

This event has brought someone back in my life that disappeared. I was engaged 4 years ago but we cancelled the wedding, neither of us have have forgotten or replaced one another and we now talk daily. We don't know where it's gonna end up but we think it's worth another shot considering where we have been. I hope for the best, and she still wants to ride with me so I got a tough time arguing with that Considering

Still got plenty of pics of us out on the skoot

Jonathan, what is up with that? What is the doctor saying is causing it to do this repeatedly? That's horrible!

Took a big hit at the farm and landed wrong . Then the next day was up in the flower beds pulling oak trees hidden in Colleen’s giant rose bushes out. The next day I stayed at home on Lortabs!!! The following weekend drove to Austin Tx for my nephews outdoor stand up for 5 hr wedding. Thought I was going to die so the following Monday went to my Dr who examined me and said go see a orthopedic Dr your pelvis is dislocated. I said Oh hell no so I went to a chiropractor. So I did and he rexrayed me. Right side dislocated backwards left dislocated forwards. He popped everything back in place. Now I’m on my feet drilling again and the rig bouncing all day. Plus rough surfaces . Once you pop it out it is easier for it to happen again. Seeing a PT trying to strengthen the muscles and tendons in that area. It’s weird! Hopefully it will become less and less a problem. But if you have ever dislocated a shoulder it’s popping it back in that really hurts!

Stay on topic isn't this a go fund me thread looks like it needs cleaned up:eek: 2018!
It's okay my fault...lol

Well guys as I Said I am ahead of schedule on this recovery, they are moving me on Monday to a new facility because the care required is relatively minimal. The new facility I'm told the only difference is I won't see a physician everyday which is fine with me because I am off all medicine except for some vitamins and blood pressure crap which is standard for people who aren't moving is what I'm told. Even though I'm still waiting on my pelvis doctor to hopefully remove the brace so I can start walking again! The pelvis doctor is on the 15th unfortunately not soon enough for me!!!!I can assure you everyone at this facility knows I just wanna walk ASAP.

Thanks to everyone on here, y'all definitely stepped up and had a big impact on my life. Some of you I have met in person, some I haven't I hope to meet everyone at some point though.

I am eager to update y'all and tell you I'm walking on my own! My goal is by 18th/19th of this month and I hope to be walking in my home before the end of this month!!!!

I also want to mention on thank you to those who have showed up to my hospital accomadations

Rick and Rodger saw me as soon as I got moved out of ICU. As most of y'all know the three of us spent quite a few days together out to California. That's a trip I'll never forgot! These two gentleman I have a tremendous amount of respect for and they ride hard! I'm less than half Rodger's age and he will outrun me all day! Haha

I had Lena from Strokers show up and bring the banner from y'all. That is a fabulous banner and I hope like hell we don't have to make one for anyone else hate to see anyone in my place.

Kel and his wife showed up with their kids on Saturday it was nice to see them. Kel comes up to Dallas frequently and I've gotten the opportunity to hang with him quite a few times him and his wife are some of the nicest people ive met and we are close in age and not many of us young guys like these dogs so much so we share slot.

I then had the absolute pleasure of meeting Woodbutcher the old man and our forum moderator! Never had I met this gentleman before but he came down from his sons place in TX. I got lucky to meet him but like I said to him, let's not meet like this again! Haha

There's also a guy I rode with out to Jefferson, TX to meet up with Jonathan aka liferider that came to see me. He has since sold his dog but it was also nice to see Mike! His forum name is Willis I think.

I also have a very good friend I met through this forum, his name is Jon and his wife Amy we used to ride almost every weekend but he let his 05 ridgeback go. I still see him when I can cause they are both amazing people. Currently they took in my 4 legged dog for me on their farm, so he is getting spoiled.

My point of this post is just to share the impact this forum has made on my life, I talked to my sister last night on the phone she still lives in Massachusetts we only see each other once per year but she mentioned she couldn't believe how great this place was! I told her yes gotta understand the custom big dog life to understand everything..lol

the only thing i regret about coming down to see you, Eric, is the fact that Shane (narow37) was working and didn't get to make the trip with me. I and your dad are the same age and you and Shane are the same age, so i've got some connection with this situation. keep up the bitching and moaning and they will get you out of there faster than you can spit.

Awsum report Eric, you will be moving on your own before you know it . I know time seems to be crawling by at the moment but you'll be looking back at this soon and realize how fast you regained ever thing that was in question. Keep up the fight.
Thanks and I know you went through your shit too!

This isn't anything to wish on anyone that's for damn sure

Eric, take your time. Believe me, I know how you feel, I hate hospitals and if doctors knew half of what they think they know they would be good. My point is that you don't want to end up with essentially would be a cold solder joint in your pelvis. What they don't tell you is how these injuries come back to haunt you.... just ask some of the "old" members. Hang tough, this will all be a distant memory soon.
