The bike is back home yesterday and I'll put it back together once I get home I dont know all the details yet. I have hired a some of the best lawyers in Dallas however and for obvious reasons wont discuss the legal state until its finalized, am hopeful however that I can get some help there too because these bills don't stop.

we just received my life flight bill and let me tell ya'll that is the most expensive flight y'all would ever take.
Eric,I remember well that med evac bill when it came in for me from last year so I know what you are thinking . I am willing to wager that if you put both bills together we could be 3/4 owners of a brand new bell copter. My flight was less than 15 minutes at $4000.00 per minute. The main thing is yes you are still here and yes you WILL make a full recovery from all this. I'm so glad that we get to start the new year with you already back to your posting habit and with such a upbeat outlook on the future. I'll be heading down that way myself soon as we get a reprieve from this icy and cold weather .

Eric, I can tell you have come a long way since we saw you Tuesday. I am sure God will bless you with a good recovery. I look forward to us riding together again. If you need any help with parts for the bike let me know I still have a few spare parts laying around.

All finally got my computer sent to me. This is beyond amazing I am lucky to be alive according to all the doctors, they claim is I got more important stuff to do in the rest of my life and I have to believe it, I was incapacitated and unable to communicate from dec 4th till this week. I also am now only on 60% pay at work and my bills dont stop so this was a blessing and I cant thank everyone enough.

I have made almost a full recovery except i broke my pelvis and they wont let me walk yet, mentally I am here and kickin just tough to read this cause i lost vision in my right eye. I will post when I can

Hi Eric,
I'm new on here and just read through all the posts. Glad you are doing well. I hope you have insurance but if not the Dr's and all others will take a lot less if you deal/haggle with them. I had surgery a few years back without insurance. The total bill was $27,000. After talking them down I paid just $9,000 on payments. I also see you lost the vision in your eye. My wife lost hers too after she dumped her bike but it came back in a few weeks. Hoping for the best for you. Hang in there bro. its not an easy road.

Thanks Rodger, I have came out alot better this week I dont forget you guys being there but I was a bit tired. I am also on full food now and not Puree and ground like I was originally I moved up the food chain in 2 days my nutritionist has supported me. I was also able to get them to remove the tube in my nose so I no longer get fed that way anymore thankfully that was a site for sore eyes.

Ive got the doctors trying to get ahold of the other hospital to move my pelvic appointment up in the queue, I told them I need it so I can start my walking! That is important to me beyond belief, I dont like telling other people what I need.

I knew something was up I asked a couple members offline about ya and after almost 2 weeks I started a thread wondering where the hell you were! I'm glad to hear you are coming out on top of a bad situation
Thanks Kevin, I read that thread too. Appreciate ya'll looking out for me it matters to me a lot, I've realized the importance of the forum even more than before. I've had so many members reach out and offer all kinds of assistance, I wont forget this that is for sure. Lena from Strokers showed up with the banner from you guys I cant wait to get home and hang that in the garage, it will be forever hung up and never forgotten. Even my non-biker friends are impressed with this forum and what has come to fruition because of it.

Hey Eric, last Summer we buried a good friend, the church was packed. He never knew how many people’s lives he’s touched. You get to see that first hand. The support for you is a direct reflection of who you are and how you have supported others here. Thanks for your help in my pm messages with all my questions and rookie issues. Hope to meet/ride with you one day so heal up and mind the doctors:D

You mentioned you lost sight in one eye. Was this due to Damage? My brother lost an eye due to an impact fall but Oshner’s hospital in New Orleans has a great eye team that was able to restore 75% vision back to it! He had been all over America seeing Dr’s it was a fluke our cousin found out about this team and told my brother about it.

Yes at the moment I have no vision in my right eye. The doctors originally considered it was due to brain movement and pressure in my noodle. There is a chance it may come back on it's own if not I'll be looking into some kind of eye doctor to fix it as it's tough even reading this computer.

I got the confirmation last night that my heart rate is finally back to normal its been elevated since the accident almost a whole month!

Still waiting on my appointment so they can get me walking
