Evryone here who chimed in has covered all the solutions
I could come up with . .. . .......... sticks to have the bike down
while your on vacation.
If all else fails contact CapeWaterMan . Go out for a ride, get some wind in your hair.
Riding on the back (although I've never done it) can't be that bad !

Braille is a good choice, Stacey. each battery comes with a sheet with the factory info on it including the amps. mine came with 692 amps/13.05 volts. turns the bike over REALLY well.

model is B2015. don't know if yours would be the same but it's a place to start. be sure you go through value tech/mad dog/don for the forum discount. save a few $$. http://www.valueteckenterprises.com/

. With that said I am going to order one like Five has and hopefully that will fix my problem.
Other members have bought this battery and love it ....and my previous battery was a Braille (good) but in my opinion the Tomika performs better from a cold start..

I took back my Duralast battery and got my money back. I though they might give me a problem but they didn't when they couldn't find one with a high enough cca. I have now ordered the Tomika 465cca battery $159.00 and no shipping cost. The only thing is I now get to wait a week for it to get here, shipping from Calif.. Oh well I wasn't going any where any time soon on the other battery

Hey guys
Just a quick update on the battery I ordered. I am still waiting for it to arrive. I ordered it on Dec 31st and it won't ship until tomorrow grrrrr. I waited for tracking information and never got any so I called California and they told me it would ship Tuesday which is tomorrow. Once it ships it will take 3 to 5 days to get to NC from Calif. I asked why so long to ship and they said they do drop ships on batterys so the can ship all hazard shipments at one time. Long story short it should arrive sometime this weekend. I will keep everyone posted once I get it charged and get to try it out.

Ok I got my battery Friday afternoon (465 cca) installed it and plugged in the trickle charger. I let it charge over night and had the green light this morning. It was pretty cold last night so I started my shop heater and let it heat up for about 2 hours. I waited for it to warm up outside also, until about 1:30 or so before I tried to start the bike. To make a long story short it is still struggling to turn over and won't start. After waiting 18 days  for the battery to arrive I Got mad loaded the bike onto the trailer and off to the bike shop I went. I told them everything I had done and I will just have to wait and see what they find. :bang::bang::bang: I did notice I had no lights on the little black box/start module that sits on top of my battery. Maybe that is all it needs  . I will keep updating this thread as I find out what is wrong with the dog.
