ENGINE IS OUT AND BEING SHIPPED TO HILLSIDE TODAY

Well I finally got the engine out late last night and shipped it out this morning to Hillside Motorcyle N.Y. to get the 650 Woods Cam, port & polish, modifying the G, Thunderjet, bigger valves, springs, valve guides. :whoop: I'm looking forward in getting it back that's for sure! :2thumbs: While I have the Dog down I'm going to Dielectric grease all connectors and shrink wrap them so I have a little piece of mind down the road! :up: I also sent my exhaust to Jet-Hot to get it coated and they called me yesterday and told me I had a crack where the collector was and that they can't coat it until I get it welded so they are shipping it back to me so i can get it welded and I leave for vacation tomorrow for a week so that really SUCKS!! :bang: I hope this can be welded so I don't have to buy a new one right now! :bang:

Just out of curiosity how did you ship the motor? Spare crate from HD or something?

I am a little surprised at that response from Jet-Hot, and what I mean by that is don't they have someone there locally that could weld the pipe up instead of sending back to you to have it welded and then sending it back to them?
Sorry just me think out load again, and of course my most favorite saying comes to mind "The reason they put smart people on this earth so they can recognize the dumb ones like me" Anyway sounds like your going to have a screamer once you get everything back...
