XXX Chrome carb with thunderjet

Big Bass did you paint or powdercoat the elbow of your inake?

I took the bike down to the frame and ordered the new style clear coat from house of colors. While doing it I had my painter order the color match paint that was in the tribal silver and solid red. The battery cover never was tribal painted so he painted the tribal on the belt, and battery covers.

I then had him paint the elbow with the same color to match the bike. The intake never gets hot so did not think I needed to powder coat. We then clear coated it and wow. I going to do the coil covers next.

I seen a linkeage on this web site on Gas Mans bike he gave me a place to look. Problem is if you look closely I had to make my own extension to match the bike becaus eit wasn't long enough so I vabbed a extender on both ends.

Looks good! Thinking of having mine painted as well...was just concerned about the heat.
