Engine Cleaner

What's the best engine cleaner for the crappy oily stuff that won't screw up the aluminum? Have used the Cycle 1000 which is OK on the light-weight stuff. Thanks

S100 is the only cleaner I'll use on any of my polished aluminum. The stuff works great and won't F-Up a polish job!

50-50 mix of CLR. Let it sit for five minutes and work the tough stains a bit with a brass wire brush. Rinse...

Aluminium Brite works awesome to. Just be careful using it, It can do very bad things to your billet.

Kind of. The biggest problem is that if you don't get it all off It'll etch your billet. Not able to be removed. Kind of like nasty dry spot that won';t come out.

I use that because the bike sleeps outside and because of the weather down here my motor was developing a brownish haze to it. Don't get me wrong I use it on the billet to you just need to get it off at the right time. My wheels never looked that clean after I pulled it out of the show room 4 years ago.:2thumbs:
