yeah i thought so,they claim they have done alot of bigdogs and there seeing 135 and up hp numbers,with the normal porting,cam,decking

spoke with scott from hillside on the phone he said for about 2400 he can get me about 130 rear wheel and torg power,but he said thats on the lowside theres possibly more..2400 includes pulling the heads doing a special decking and porting and polishing,to raise compression,also boring carb adding a thiunderjet,a woods 650 cam,gaskets,plugs,oil/filter and dyno tune and labor included,takes about 7 days,what do you guys think? these guys are suppose to be the best..

sounds great! plus it will be a combo that works.

just maybe add an aftermarket ignition to top it off.

and check that a valve job is included with the head work.

the tune alone is worth a few hundred from Joe's cycle. guy is supposed to be a tuning fanatic. like 50 runs to get it right.

I don't think I would want more than a few pulls on the dyno, that shit scares the hell out of me. They made me sign a wavier at the last shop I went to, in case they blew up my motor they were not responsible. :up:

sul,they said about 300 for the dyno tune,seems high but thats what makes there magic...and that also is included in the 2400..is the price in the ball park? he said he didnt think he has to change the springs,but useing a 650 cam i think they have to be changed.

Hillside has a top notch reputation among Harley riders.

I would be surprised if they did a dozen dyno runs to setup a carbed bike but I'm not personally familiar with this shops methods. The actual number of runs should be minimal if they have done several identical Bigdog motors in the past.

Tuning a FI bike from scratch could take 50 or more runs to do it right. I can speak from personal experiance about that.

The price sounds like it's in the ballpark to me.
