Had a great trip to Elko Motorcycle Jamboree last weekend. My buddy Mike (REDDOG737) and I decided to go last minute and were going to ride the whole way and camp but my wife Linda found us a nice place to stay (park model) in a new RV park (Ironhorse campground), so we all 3 went.
Decided to trailer since weather looked iffy and Linda didn't want to ride the 800 miles acrossed the UT and NV desert. Yah, I know! Call me "TRAILER PUSSY" if you must and YES, I have seen (but don't have one of) those T-Shirts that says on the front: "Trailering your Bike is a Sickness" and on the back: "Call 1-800- Too Scared to Ride"
But you all know me, NOT too Scared to ride, Right!:2thumbs:
Anyway, Mike's '04 BDM chopper has problems with the clutch (open primary) and nothing wrong with my chopper except Linda prefers to ride the springer. So off we go thurs before last.
Here we are unloading the bikes to ride through the beautiful Ruby Valley the last 60 miles to Elko.
Our VERY comfortable Home-Away from-Home in Elko.
We have Arrived at the Rally!
An Iraq War Veteran and his dog and sidkick: "TURD"
Linda asked this gal if she could take her picture with me, but she said "Tip or T-shirt". She wasn't that great looking so we only got this pic of her ASS!
The SPECTACULAR RUBY MOUNTAINS! Only in AMERICA!:flag:

Just got back from the mountains before the rain started. Rained all night hard so we were glad to not be tenting it!!!
Back at the Rally the next day (saturday) in Elko. Now here is a novel idea for a blender!
Most agreeable babe I saw at the rally!:bang:
Elko Rally Headquarters
Linda and I havin' FUN!
Three Blocks of vendors in Elko!
One LOOoong Chopper in Elko!
Got up Sunday and loaded the bikes and headed East on the I 80. Not long before it started raining hard. Have to say we were mighty glad to be trailering as we passed a bunch of bikes either on the road side putting on rain gear or getting soaked as they rode through the downpour.
On the way back we stopped at the old courthouse and jail in Pioche, NV. It is an old silver mining town where silver was discovered in 1871 and it was nearly Lawless for a long time. We got some great pics and will share them later in this or another thread. Also stopped there an had a cold one at the historic Overland Saloon.
Wish Ya'all could have been there!
