my 08 k9 starter keeps kicking out before motor can start. its brand new along with battery. i no regulator is bad but im not changing it if my ecm is bad. can any1 help me?

Could be the starter clutch is bad. My heritage soft ail used to eat them up before I added compresion releases. It will sound like the starter is kicking out

I would contact CPT America from wildsteed. he is a pro with starter issues. If a rebuild is in the works, he is the man.
