Having a few issues and need some expert guidance. End of last season my low beam burned out. it automatically reverted to high beam on. So this year I get a new light and install it. At first I could only get the low beam on. The high beam wouldn't switch on at the handle control. Then neither would work. I checked the ehc default lights and they were fine with the new bulb plugged in. I removed the new light and started the bike. Now both low beam and high beam default lights would flash on the ehc. I installed the old light with the bike running and the high beam came on, (since the low beam was burned out.) With the bike running i unplugged the old light and plugged in the new light. It came on with the high beam. I pressed the low beam switch and it switched to low beam. I then tried to press the high beam switch and of course it wouldn't work. Does this sound like a issue with the control switch?

Next, the front right flasher wont flash. The rear one does, but not the front. The running light works, but no flash. Control issue? Led lighboard issue?

Next, the front brake wont activate the brake light. I did some digging on here and found that there is a magnet in the lever that sometimes goes bad? Any further advice appreciated. I despise electrical. It is not my strong point.

You can send your EHC to WSW to have it checked out and hopefully ruled out.
EHC Testing
If it is definitely not the EHC then you have harness issues that have to be resolved. You can easily troubleshoot the Hi/Lo switch by unplugging it and checking for continuity. After that you have to pull your tank and start looking.

I don't think its the EHC because from what I can tell it is responding with all the right fault codes. Of course that doesn't really mean anything.

Headlight problem solved. Took the handle control apart and I don't even think the connection was together. Greased and assembled that and the connecters under the tank and its good. Now on to the blinker and brake light. Is there anyway to tell if the led board is burned out? If the running light is good does that mean the flasher LEDs should be good as well?
