Electrical troubleshooting for a friend

I have a bud that's having issues with his 07 K9. I've told him everything I know to check so thought I'd post here and see what we've missed. His bike set up for 18 months due to an injury. He just bought a new battery(410CA) and the bike started right up. He cut it off and backed it out of his shop. Went to start it and blinkers & headlight flashing. No horn blowing, no tach lights flashing. He's checked for loose wires, bad connections, grounds, all that stuff. Where should he go from here?

New Batteries also go flat...........

Charge the new battery and try again....

And make sure the compression releases aren't stuck.

Check and see if when you push the stat button, you have 12v on the green wire at the start solenoid. If you do, clean the solenoid contacts.

Thanks guys, will pass this on. Just to confirm, the engine will not even attempt to turn over. Supposedly he has tried another battery that was good but that was my thoughts initially, battery bad or weak even though it is new. He bought it from the Harley shop so you know it's the best battery made, lol
