Electrical Issues Newer Bikes

I have an 08 K-9. No electrical issues. Do the newer big dogs 08-11 still have the potential for these electrical gremlins. I thought I read somewhere it was rectified in the newer models or is it just with all of them. Thanks.

Less likely, they did improve over time. I would not be overly concerned about issues you don’t have. Vast majority are issue free.

Just a general statement is to be careful who you allow to wrench on your bike if not you.

Lots of gremlins can stem from inexperienced mechanics.

Also, guys adding mods to their bikes have created some of these gremlins.

I agree with JWooky, don't sweat it until you have problems. My bike is 15 years old, and I have had minimal issues.

Run a Deka battery, ETX20L. The biggest reason for electrical problems, is a cheap battery.
