Start with the battery (charged and functional) and then check all ur connections. Pay close attention to the "new" W/P plugs. Its possible one of the wires came loose from its pin. Check ur key switch as well. Almost forgot the grounds...its possible to have a loose one causing issues.

Battery good, switch good, unplugged and reconnected W/P plugs. None of the controls work though. Start, horn turn sigs, hi/lo Nothing. I do have one question for ya when you turn on the key switch what leds light up on the W/P controller?

With my 04 Pit, the first 3 leds light up when the key is turned. The other two light up when the start button is pushed. The T/H ignition module will light then also.

Think my switch module is bad. Gonna call W/P tomorrow.
If you can't get ahold of them, call Doug or Will at C.A.Jones in Wichita. They're a dealer and a member here. They may be able to help. Just a thought.

You need to check each individual wire in the plug to make sure the connect together properly. Hold the same pinout wires on both sides of the connector and push them together.

Don't forget to check the headlight bulb AND plug. The plug may have had a meltdown. If so replace with a ceramic plug. WSW carries them.

I have another idea if you haven't fixed your problem yet. I agree with the above, It sounds like a ground. Just in case, pull the handlebar controls off and open them up. There is a circuit board behind the buttons for the signals, high/lo start. Check to make sure they have not been unplugged / corroded, etc. The pins and connector can come unplugged or pulled just enough to cause weird stuff to happen if someone tugs on the wire harness coming through the backbone.

Let us know if you get it running.

Sounds like your WP switch module. Keep calling over and over until you get them to help.

I'm on my third. They have a " new and improve version". Good luck. Complain to owner Rick and you might get it half off. What a POS.
