HELP! My dog is acting up. Put the key in...turn on and the tach climbs (by 10's) to 60 (ALL lights flashing all the way to 60 RPM) and then the electrical system just shuts down....turn key off and go through the same process????

Battery is fine (on trickle charger)...fully charged. All connections look good...all recall issues addressed?

Whatz up?:bang:

What lights are lit up on the EHC when you turn the key on?

Ok, back up and running. Issue appears to be located in headlight wiring...Installed HID Kit from Lowdown, which is when I realized the first issue some of the others ran across when installing the HID (needed the diode to close the loop)...the issue being my local BDM Dealer did not actually do the service repair on the headlight socket, which was melted!!

I think my issue is either of two things:

1 - Wiring of new head light socket by Dealer, or
2 - I may have had one of the plugs outside of the metal instert when plugging in.

While a bit embarrassing, I hope it is the latter. Took the head light apart and reinstalled and all seems to be working fine.

Jake was right on top of this issue...Great Support and Products from Lowdown!

What was the resolution here? My buddy with his 07K9 just put the HID kit in last week, and is having a similar situation. When he turns the key to "on", tach and idiot lights flash, and headlight and signals flash. Bike will not start. Problem is intermittent..
