So I have a 2005 big dog bulldog and the EHC went out in it and I understand that they have a new system for this I was wondering I've been looking into this and looking up all this stuff what is the difference they got generation one and generation two what what would I need for my bike it's a 2005 big dog bulldog and where can I find the part

Me personally I would not install the rip kit 1 or 2 version. I would install the axel ehc that wildsteedworx.com sells... Ross cycles sells them also...you will need a new factory harness and you can get that from Bigdogpartsking or from the other 2 vendors mentioned above... your looking at 1000.00 for the harness and the axel ehc

Are you sure your EHC is bad? Tell us your problem and maybe we can help you troubleshoot the issue. Big dogs are unique to some degree and many have assumed incorrectly that the EHC is smoked only to find later that the problem was really just a bad connection or a crap battery. Many on this site are skilled and willing to help you.

I saw the pic of your EHC and just a thought,,, don't know how much work would be but i have check into this in case i need an alternative. Might be an alternative for what you have... Definitely check into what has been said here, Check charging system, would hate for ya to get something new and have all happen again!
