I knw I have read about it on here somewhere but cant find it again. My ehc only lights up for ign and run, horn and also air comp. I don't have air compressor and it is not lighting up for any turn or brake lights. does this mean that my ehc is going bad? any info would be great.

My understanding( and Im sure Ill be corrected if wrong) is that if it shows a light for anything but the power, ignition, and starter then it is showing a fault. So a horn light illuminating when pressed means it is showing a fault somewhere in the horn wiring or horn itself.

You should see an LED anytime you press a button to cause a function to occur.
However, if you see a continuous LED on say the horn for instance then you are being notified by the EHC that there is an issue on that circuit.
Having said the above should you press the horn or any of the other functions and not see an LED at all then there is an issue with the LED light circuit inside the EHC. Doesn't necessarily mean the EHC is on its way out though.

ok thanks guys. this just started happening, lights would come on when you pressed a function like your saying. I had a broken wire on the horn so I fixed that and then I noticed that the led were not coming on when you pressed a function yet everything is working fine.
