Well looks like the ehc bug might be catching up with me. Went out to start bike today n started fine but noticed left rear turn signal on but not flashing n neutral light on speedo not coming on. Also the 4 ways work but headlight goes out is this normal? Hoping its battery since its about 4 yrs old but doubt it with my luck.

When mine went crazy the low beam would go on and off just sitting at a idle. Then it would shut down at any time. Everyone would tell you to check all connections and load test the battery. I'm sure someone with more knowage will chime in and help.

There's nothing normal about that. Did you check your indicator lights on your EHC while the bike is running? Also, check to make sure your VR is putting out the correct amount, I think somewhere around 14.5V. Bad batteries make these dogs do the craziest shit! So does moisture. Start with the indicator lights and let us know.

It is normal for the headlight to turn off when you turn on all four lights as emergency flashers by pushing both the left and right turn together.

well checked n cleaned connections today also checked battery was at 12.8 volts than with key on went down to 12.1 n stayed for a couple minutes. With bike running was putting out around 14.2 volts. Put terminals back on batt started it up n flashers were flashing ran fine though n no codes on ehc while i was riding, been workin since been checking every hour. So hopfully problem solved

So, your saying the battery dropped to 12.1 just by turning on the key? If it did that, it's going to be needing replacement soon... Just saying
