I have seen new EHC's go for around 250 on ebay, not to often. But I think for a stealer to do it was like 500+. That is why I took the preemptive approach on mine, and did the WP. I have put 8K on mine with no problems (with the EHC), and may have NEVER had a problem, but I like the piece of mind that it will NEVER happen now. That ALONE is worth the WP.

For the 05 and later, I think they are around $300 range, give or take a few bucks. 04 and earlier ones are going for around $500.

I bought my used 04 Mastiff last March and the EHC bit the dust over the winter, but my buddy Jake at Low Down Chop Shop is fixing me up with a Wire Plus unit (WP-374) that's going to say bye bye to any more problems with that sort of shit. Thanks Jake, you the man.
