A resistor or fuse right behind the key I don't know lol
Hmm..might want to get rid of that. No need for a fuse on the ignition switch. Just one more thing that can go wrong. 2 fuses Is all you need one between battery and EHC and another one between the VR and Battery. That's it...keep it simple.

And this goes back to my earlier point on why it's hard to help people with electrical issues. Lots of these bikes got bastardized and that's the cause of the issues more so than component failures. The electronics once you spend some time is no harder than any other bikes people just make them out that way. Your the first one with a fuse on a key switch...glad you found it cause we sure as hell would not have..haha

I'm working on a 2004 Mastiff with an Intermittent No Start Problem to the Starter Solenoid. Along with Continuous Voltage to the Neutral and Hi Beam lights in the Speedo. I have 13.5 VDC/280 CCA in the battery. Hooked to a battery tender while I'm running my Diag on the bike. I have done Voltage Drops and Ohm'ed my On/Off and Starter Switch. Both are in Spec. I have 12.0 VDC to the Starter Solenoid when the Start Button is hit. So I know the PCB on the Right Switch Housing is not Grounded and is operating properly. I have traced the Continous 12.0 VDC going to the Speedo for the Neutral and Hi Beam Indicators along with 12.0 VDC going to the EHC and I have verified the Ground to is good also.
