EHC Replacement

Well I certainly don't see a store for Wildsteedworx on ebay at the moment but can find bigdogpartskingpin -- I've emailed Curtis for more info.

My time has come to replace my EHC unit in 05 Chopper. Any suggestions between stock unit, BD R.I.P., or Wild Steed Worx? Also does anyone know if they are warrantied. Thanks for any advice.

I've got a Steedworx it's German made and no problems at all. "2 year manufacturer's warranty, only applicable if the Big Dog OEM Charging System has been replaced with a WSSW's own charging kit we have assembled or a CompUFire or Cycle Electric system". I didn't upgrade my charging system because I felt it happened while being on a trickle charger when not riding. I changed my charger to a 1 AMP and don't keep it on the bike, I take the battery out.
I might have gone with the RIP KIT if I knew about it beforehand. Can't go wrong with Big Dog support for the old bikes.

Thanks for all the replies! I got the one from WildSteedWorx. Very easy install and bike runs great. It is held in place by Velcro eliminating the two studs that go through the bottom of the battery box. Both had snapped off my old one and it was just loose.(see pics) Maybe that caused it to go bad banging around in there. Anyways...feels great riding again!
