EHC replacement on 2008 Mastiff

I fairly new to the forum and live in Rapid City, South Dakota and wanted to share some information with you folks considering a ehc replacement.Even though the ehc in my bike worked fine I wanted to change it out. I have a friend who worked for Big Dog and is one of the finest mechanics I know. I purchased the retro fit unit from BDM and Bob was very helpful. My friend really liked the unit and was an easy installation for someone with his skills. Basically he plans to use this units in any future Big Dog ehc replacements. So far the bike runs excellent-the only functions you loose are the flashers and self canceling signal lights. You also use all the big dog controls, swith,etc and get a new wiring harness. I am really impressed with the unit, hope this is helpful .

Same here....switched to the PDM about 5000 miles ago and no problems so far.

Does the low fuel and the service engine LEDs work on the EFI bikes?
