Can I solder the connection instead of using the deutsh connection and who is Jake that everyone keeps talking about. I heard there was a video out there that will help. Does anyone know about that.

I've been doing both. I'm just making double sure the connections are secure. Jake goes by bdmridgeback here on the forum. Just do a member search. Check the how-to stickys to find the Wire Plus install. Easy to do but read thru the instructions a few times while looking at the kit. Makes it a bit easier to understand. PM me if I can be of any help. I'm located in Derby Kansas so OKC isn't that far away if you need some help.

No need to solder just get a good crimper.
